Tyler Perry viral pictures real or fake? Here's the truth
Tyler Perry has sparked online buzz after viral pictures allegedly showing him kissing another man circulated on social media. Grok AI suggested the images may be manipulated or AI-generated, though independent verification is needed. Meanwhile, t...

"These photos appear manipulated or AI-generated from 2025 images of Tyler Perry and actor Bryan Tanaka (from his show Beauty in Black) relaxing on a Mediterranean yacht. Real shots show them sitting together, with Tanaka puckering his lips at one point, but not kissing. No credible reports confirm any romantic involvement or such a kiss. Perry has long faced unconfirmed rumors but publicly dated women and has a son. Modern AI makes fakes hard to distinguish by eye alone," the Grok AI analysis said.
However, an AI assessment alone does not establish whether an image is authentic or manipulated. The viral pictures would need independent verification to determine their authenticity.
This is not the first time AI-generated images involving Tyler Perry have gone viral. Earlier this year, intimate pictures allegedly showing Perry and The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Marlo Hampton circulated online. The images were later reported to be AI-generated.
Tyler Perry lists Beverly Hills mansion for $57 million
In other news, Tyler Perry has listed his Beverly Hills estate for $57 million, according to reports published in September 2026. The move comes as the filmmaker and entertainment mogul prepares to relocate to Puerto Rico. The property, which previously housed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle during their transition away from royal duties, has attracted attention in the luxury real estate market. Located in the Beverly Ridge Estates community, the mansion spans approximately 24,600 square feet and features Mediterranean-inspired architecture and extensive grounds.
Perry acquired the property in 2004 for around $4.3 million and completed its development in 2012. The estate features eight bedrooms and 15 bathrooms, along with expansive living and entertainment spaces, including a library, home theatre, game room, music room and wine cellar.
The property also includes a separate guesthouse and staff accommodations. Its grounds extend across approximately 22 acres, offering considerable privacy.
Other high-profile celebrity property deals
Perry's decision to sell his mansion comes amid several high-profile real estate transactions involving celebrities and entertainment figures.Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi's Carpinteria estate reportedly sold for $96 million, while media entrepreneur Byron Allen's condominium at 220 Central Park South was reported to have sold for $82.5 million. Both transactions attracted attention in the luxury property market.
Other notable deals include rapper Drake's reported acquisition of Robbie Williams' Beverly Hills-area estate for a price in the mid-$70 million range in 2022. In the same year, singer Adele purchased Sylvester Stallone's Beverly Park mansion for $58 million.
These transactions highlight the value of luxury celebrity homes, which can command substantial prices because of their size, location, amenities and association with prominent owners.
Perry's listing could mark a strategic shift in his real estate holdings as he prepares for a move to Puerto Rico. Whether the Beverly Hills estate attracts a buyer at its current asking price remains to be seen.
Over the years, Perry has built an extensive real estate portfolio, reflecting his professional success and preference for large, private residences. The mansion's expansive grounds, extensive amenities and connection to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle make it a notable property in the luxury real estate market.
