Trump’s DC crime crackdown explodes, Republican states send hundreds of National Guard troops
Amid US President Donald Trump’s intensifying crime crackdown in Washington, DC, hundreds of National Guard troops from Republican-led states are being deployed to the capital. They will join the 800 guardsmen already stationed in the city under Trump’s orders. Reports say Ohio is sending 150 troops, South Carolina 200, West Virginia up to 400, and Mississippi 200, nearly doubling the total force to more than 1,500.
