Trump says he will meet with Brazil's Lula next week

Donald Trump told the UN General Assembly on Tuesday that he will meet Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva next week, after the two leaders briefly spoke and embraced following Lula’s address.

President Donald Trump said during his remarks to the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday that he has agreed to meet next week with Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.

Trump said that he walked passed Lula after the Brazilian leader addressed the UN, saying that the two leaders embraced and spoke briefly.

"We had a good talk, and we agreed to meet next week," he said. "He seemed like a very nice man."
