Trump lashed out at Norway hours after the committee awarded this year's prize to Navi Pillay, a former International Criminal Court judge who oversaw a UN report that concluded Israel had committed genocide in Gaza.
Speaking at a campaign rally in Syracuse, New York, Trump dismissed Pillay as a "mystery person", adding, "I never heard of the person. Nobody did."
Trump has expressed disappointment at failing to win the prestigious award in each year of his presidency, repeatedly highlighting what he says are his efforts to resolve international conflicts and promote peace.
"This is an indelible stain on the country of Norway and those people that made such a disgraceful and embarrassing decision," Trump said.
He listed several conflicts in which he claimed to have played a role in preventing hostilities, including tensions between North and South Korea, Japan and North Korea, and China and Taiwan. He did not provide evidence to support his claims.
Trump also questioned the credibility of the award, accusing those behind the decision of political bias and hostility towards his administration.
