Trump admin builds 'secondary wall' at Mexico border; watch drone visuals

US workers are building a new 11-kilometer (7 miles) ‘secondary’ barrier to reinforce the steel mesh fence in the desert of southern New Mexico, along the border with Mexico, on Wednesday (July 16). In June, U.S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem issued three new waivers for border wall construction, ensuring expeditious construction of approximately 58 kilometers (36 miles) of new border wall in Arizona and New Mexico.
