'Transformers: Age Of Extinction' crosses $1 billion

'Extinction' became the second film in the Transformers franchise to cross the billion dollar mark, following 'Dark Of The Moon in 2011'.

'Transformers: Age Of Extinction' crosses $1 billion
LOS ANGELES: Michael Bay's 'Transformer: Age Of Extinction' has crossed $ 1 billion at the box office, including its $ 241.2 million domestic and $ 763.8 million international collection.

'Extinction' became the second film in the Transformers franchise to cross the billion dollar mark, following ' Dark Of The Moon in 2011'. The film, which released in late June, is the first film of 2014 to hit the milestone, reported Deadline.

'Extinction' became the highest-grossing film ever in China with a collection of $ 300 million.

The film is all set to collect more as it opnes in Spain, Japan and Venezuela this month.
