'Thousands of criminals on streets': Trump sues NYC over 'sanctuary city' laws, blames it for CBP agent shooting
The Trump administration has launched a federal lawsuit against New York City, targeting its sanctuary city policies and blaming them for the recent shooting of a Customs and Border Protection officer in Manhattan. The lawsuit, filed by the DOJ, also named Mayor Eric Adams, NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch, and other city officials.
