‘They’re beautiful ladies, stalking me’: Trump on a group of North Carolina women at midterm rally
With his approval rating at record lows, US President Donald Trump sought to rally support at a campaign event in North Carolina on Tuesday, urging voters to back his preferred Senate candidate in a race some Republican groups have reportedly abandoned. During the rally, Trump spoke about a group of women who he said had been following him for years across states, including California and Texas. “We have a group of ladies that have been following me for a while. They’re finally in their own state. They’ve been following me for years. They’re stalkers. They’re stalking me. They are beautiful women,” Trump said.
