California Governor Gavin Newsom refused to walk back his controversial remarks about US President Donald Trump’s adviser Stephen Miller, whom he called a “fascist cuck.” Doubling down on the statement, Newsom said, “I don’t think they understand any other kind of language,” and added, “I have no apologies for standing tall and firm and pushing back against their cruelty.”
