'They don’t have pants to wear...': Trump attacks Somali immigrants, Ilhan Omar at Ohio rally

US President Donald Trump attacked Somali immigrants and called Democratic Representative Ilhan Omar a “disaster” at an Ohio rally on Monday (October 12), hours after authorities raided her Washington, DC, home. The Justice Department said the raid was part of an ongoing federal investigation. A person familiar with the probe said it concerns alleged immigration fraud. The probe includes immigration paperwork completed by Omar’s late father when she was a child. Omar accused the Trump administration of political intimidation. She is seeking a fifth term in the US House in the November 3 midterm elections.
