US Vice President JD Vance has criticized Democrats for their "childish" behavior during the continuing resolution standoff. He stated, "They are trying to take a hostage. If we give them everything they want now, in three months, they will shut down the aviation industry and deny SNAP unless we meet their demands!" Vance emphasized, "That is not how a responsible governing party should behave in the United States."
