After steel, Trump now threatens 25% tariff on foreign cars, semiconductor chips and pharma

US President Donald Trump has laid out plans to place a 25% tariff on automobile exports, semiconductors and pharmaceuticals. This comes after Trump enacted 10% tariffs across all goods coming in from China. He also imposed 25% tariffs on all steel and aluminium imports. Trump intends to eventually increase tariff rate on semiconductor chips and drugs.
