Tamil National Alliance to back opposition in ousting President Gotabaya Rajapaksa

Sri Lanka's main opposition party, the Samagi Jana Balawegaya, on Friday announced that it would move a no-trust motion against the government of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa as it failed to take steps to address the concerns of the public facing hardships because of the economic crisis.
Sri Lanka's main Tamil party, the Tamil National Alliance (TNA), on Sunday said that it was ready to support the opposition in moving a no-confidence motion against the government of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and was prepared to impeach the embattled leader.
