Taiwan Military drills simulate Chinese attack with missiles,special forces ambush and drone defence

Taiwan's military rehearsed resupplying a Patriot missile system, countering drone incursions and conducting special forces ambushes, as the annual Han Kuang exercises continued across the island. The scenarios included air force troops reloading Patriot missiles after simulated combat operations to test sustained fighting capability, and army special forces using drones, anti-tank missiles and sniper teams in a night-time ambush designed to disable an enemy convoy and disrupt its command structure in Taipei. At an air force base in the southern city of Chiayi, the scenario was air force personnel detecting, jamming and intercepting an invasive drone. Democratically governed Taiwan, which China claims as its own territory, kicked off the annual Han Kuang exercise last week, rehearsing various scenarios should China ever make good on threats to try to seize the island by force.
