Two-way traffic
Authorities are working to widen the 30 kilometer-long area by 40 meters to the east and deepen to 72 feet, CNN reported. The SCA also plans to extend the second lane near the Great Bitter Lake by 10 kilometers, which will make space for two-way traffic along the stretch.
