‘Sovereignty Is Not For Sale’: Mexican Prez Sheinbaum turns down Trump’s troop offer against cartels

Responding to a Wall Street Journal report, Sheinbaum confirmed Trump’s request during private calls but emphasized, ‘sovereignty is not for sale.’ She stated Mexico welcomes cooperation and intelligence sharing but will never allow foreign troops on its soil, defending national sovereignty as ‘sacrosanct.’
