South Korea's constitutional court says begins Yoon Suk Yeol impeachment hearings

Seoul: South Korea's constitutional court on Monday kicked off proceedings on the impeachment of President Yoon Suk Yeol, suspended from office over his failed bid to impose martial law.

"The first deliberative meeting in regard to the impeachment motion began at 1000 am (GMT 0100)," a spokesman for the Constitutional Court told AFP.
