‘She will resign and hop on the first plane to Somalia’: Trump drops bombshell on Ilhan Omar | WATCH

Donald Trump renewed his attacks on Rep. Ilhan Omar at a Texas midterm rally, calling for her resignation and saying she would “hop the first plane to Somalia” amid a controversy over her name. Trump also revived the long-running allegation involving Omar’s former husband Ahmed Nur Said Elmi; Omar has repeatedly denied that Elmi is her brother, and the allegation remains unproven. The clash comes after a DOJ court filing referred to the Minnesota Democrat as “Ilhan Nur Said Elmi, a/k/a Ilhan Abdullahi Omar,” though the filing itself does not establish fraud.
