US President Donald Trump has dismissed the attack on Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, reportedly calling the incident 'staged' after she was sprayed with an unknown substance at a Minneapolis town hall. As per reports, Trump said he does not think about Omar and described her as 'a fraud' when asked about the alleged assault. The attack occurred during Omar’s first town hall of the year on January 27, when a man allegedly rushed toward her and sprayed an amber-colored liquid while shouting inaudibly.
