'Shame on you!': Protesters heckle Minnesota AG Ellison as he 'admits' non-citizen voting | Midterms

Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison is facing intense political backlash after a viral campaign video reignited debate over voter outreach ahead of the 2026 midterm elections. Speaking at an event for Democratic Senate candidate Peggy Flanagan, Ellison urged supporters to mobilize people who were not eligible to vote in the last election because they were either under 18, had not yet become naturalized U.S. citizens, or did not vote. Ellison was also heckled by a group of protesters during the campaign event in Minneapolis.
