When Sean Diddy sold his $55 million Miami mansion
Sean Diddy's prison altercation with the drug lord has renewed attention to Combs’ $55 million Miami mansion, which he sold in July 2026. During that time, he was serving his prison sentence. The waterfront property had previously featured in his failed bid for release on bail after he was arrested in 2024. The multi-dollar Miami mansion became closely linked to Sean Diddy Combs’ legal battle after his arrest in September 2024. His legal team proposed a $50 million bail package and offered the waterfront property as collateral to support his release. His lawyers also proposed several conditions for his release including restricting his travel to New York City and Miami, keeping his private jet grounded in Los Angeles while it was being sold, and needing him to wear a GPS monitoring device. Before the bail hearing, he paid off the remaining mortgage on the property, reportedly worth around $18 million, to make it available as security. But prosecutors did not agree and opposed his release and a federal judge denied the bail request, citing concerns about the risk he posed if released.

Mansion was raided too
The mansion also came under scrutiny in March 2024, when federal agents searched the property as part of the investigation into Combs. The Homeland Security agents searched the Miami property as part of the federal investigation that later resulted in criminal charges against the music producer. The mansion remained under public scrutiny throughout the legal proceedings because of its connection to the investigation and the repeated bail hearingsWhile Combs remains behind bars, the Miami property changed hands in an off-market transaction reported in July 2026. The sale price was $55 million, significantly above the $35 million he paid for the home in 2021.
According to property reports, the buyer financed part of the purchase through an $18.5 million mortgage from Axos Bank. The transaction followed reported disputes over closing documents and mortgage-related issues, which were subsequently resolved.
Which property does Diddy still own?
Despite selling the $55 million estate, Sean Diddy Combs continues to own another property on Star Island, next to the mansion he sold. He purchased the neighbouring property in 2003 for $14.5 million. The larger estate spans around 11,000 square feet and was also searched by federal agents in March 2024.The two properties had formed a significant part of Combs’ Miami real estate holdings.
