'Scaring women!’: RFK Jr on FDA’s move to drop menopause hormone therapy ‘black box’ warning

The US Food and Drug Administration has begun the process of removing 'black box' warning labels from hormone replacement therapy medications used to treat menopause symptoms. The labels were originally added due to concerns over possible increased breast cancer risk. At a press conference, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. criticised the original warnings, saying they “frightened women and silenced doctors.'
