Russia-Ukraine war: Aid arrives by boat in Kharkiv as key bridge destroyed
The village of Staryi Saltiv was under Russian control for two months. After Ukrainian forces recaptured it in May, it was a frequent target of shelling until September, according to the people who live there. The bridge, which was destroyed in March, was the main link that connected one part of the village with the other and to the regional capital of Kharkiv.
