Russia strikes Zaporizhzhia with drones after Ukraine’s attack on Kremlin airbase

Russian drones pounded Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia on Sunday (June 1) early morning, governor Ivan Fedorov said. Fedorov said on the telegram messaging app that three people were injured, three apartment buildings and 29 private houses were damaged as well as critical infrastructure. The attack came a day before Russia called for the second round of face-to-face talks with Ukrainian officials in Istanbul. Ukraine had earlier attacked an airfield in Russia's Irkutsk region.
