The Argentine-born doctor and Marxist rebel leader who helped Fidel Castro seize power in Cuba was finally captured after years of living in secrecy.

After finishing his studies, Guevara became politically active first in his native Argentina and then in neighboring Bolivia and Guatemala. He was also instrumental in helping Fidel Castro in his efforts to overthrow the Batista government in Cuba.
