Productive dialogue between US and Russia is good for the world: Donald Trump

Addressing a joint press-conference in Helsinki, Finland, Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald trump, spoke on a wide range of critical issues like: peace process in the Korean Peninsula, non-intervention of Russia in the internal matters of the United States and the implications of Trump pulling out US from Iran-nuclear deal.

Appreciating the role of the US in convincing Iran to sign the nuclear deal, Putin said the deal played a great role in addressing issues like non-proliferation and careful use of nuclear technology. "Washington knows our position on Iran nuclear deal very well", said Putin.

Vladimir Putin categorically stated that a collective approach by both the countries can end terrorism throughout the globe. Donald Trump responded to it by saying that diplomacy and dialogue can go a long way in ironing out hostility. He also said that major disagreements were discussed at length during their just concluded meet.


Accepting that the relation between US and Russia is undergoing its lowest point, Trump assured that the bilateral meet in Helsinki has done a world of good for both the nations.

Trump and Putin accepted that the talks were extremely productive and will have far-reaching implications. Referring to the Syrian Crisis, Trump said, Cooperation between US and Russia has the potential to save thousands of lives.
