President Zelenskyy vows to 'stop Russian assaults' across Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Friday (October 31) pledged to stop Russian offensives across Ukraine, including assaults in Pokrovsk and Kupiansk. "The Russians want to turn our whole country into what they're doing to Pokrovsk, to Kupiansk, and to our other towns and communities. We must stop them where they have come and destroy them there," he said in a video statement released by the Ukrainian Presidential Press Service.
