Pete Hegseth loses cool as Rep. Deluzio asks tough question in Congressional hearing over Iran war

They testified about President Trump's proposed 2027 budget, which calls for an increase in defense spending to $1.5 trillion, the largest proposed amount in decades. This was the first opportunity for lawmakers to question the defense leaders since the U.S. and Israel initiated the war with Iran in late February. Despite Hegseth calling the war “a gift to the world,” polls show that most Americans disapprove of the conflict and the administration's approach.
