Pete Hegseth hails Poland as 'model ally to US on the Eastern flank of NATO'
"The relationship between the United States and Poland is rock solid; both countries demonstrate peace through strength," Hegseth said at the outset of the meeting's public portion. Calling Poland a "model ally to the United States on the Eastern flank of NATO," Hegseth commended Kosiniak-Kamysz for his country's willingness to increase its domestic defense spending.
