A case has been filed against Tayyab, who has acknowledged his guilt. Authorities plan to exhume the child's grave for forensic examination under a court directive, as reported by ARY News.
In another incident in Lahore's Defence B area, a 13-year-old domestic worker named Tehreem was allegedly subjected to severe abuse by her employers, a husband and wife. The victim's mother, Tahreem, filed a complaint which led to the registration of a First Information Report (FIR) against the accused, Hassam. However, efforts to arrest his wife are still ongoing.
The FIR revealed that Tehreem faced continuous physical abuse, including being stripped naked, on suspicion of theft. The victim's mother reported that her daughter suffered fractures to her hand and nose during the abuse.
After a medical examination, Tehreem was released into her mother's care. The Superintendent of Police (SP) Cantt assured that those responsible for the acts against Tehreem would be brought to justice swiftly.

"Following a complaint filed by the victim's mother, Tahreem, law enforcement promptly registered a First Information Report (FIR) against the accused, Hassam," ARY News reported. Efforts are ongoing to apprehend his wife.
