Jones was deported on Sunday morning by the immigration authorities at the Benazir Bhutto international airport after he landed from Dubai.
Jones reached Islamabad for the Players' draft of the Pakistan Super League as he has been appointed head coach of the Islamabad franchise. Despite his efforts to contact the Pakistan cricket Board and Islamabad franchise to help him out Jones was deported to Dubai.
Nisar said the impression was wrong that the ministry could allow any foreign national to enter Pakistan without a valid visa. He said Jones also didn't have a valid visa so he was sent back.
