The Joint Action Committee (JAC) for Refugees in Pakistan, an advocacy group based in Karachi and Islamabad working for the rights of Afghan Refugees, has claimed that at least 190 Afghan refugees have been illegally arrested and detained in the Pakistani capital and Rawalpindi.
Pakistan's interior ministry on Friday asked all "illegal foreigners" and Afghan Citizen Card holders to leave the country before March 31, warning they would otherwise be deported from April 1.

Islamabad, in the past, has blamed militant attacks and crimes on undocumented Afghan immigrants, who form the largest portion of migrants in the country.

Kabul has rejected the accusations.
