A police official said that militants were shifted to an undisclosed location for interrogation. He refused to identify the arrested militants.

Pakistan arrests five Taliban militants from Balochistan
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan security forces today arrested five Taliban militants with a key commander in a raid in southwestern Balochistan province, police said.

The forces raided Kuchlak area of provincial capital Quetta and arrested the militants after a tip-off.

Moreover, heavy weapons were recovered from the militants' possession, sources added.

A police official said that militants were shifted to an undisclosed location for interrogation. He refused to identify the arrested militants.

Pakistan has launched countrywide crackdown on the militants after Peshawar school massacre which left 148 dead including 132 students.

So far hundreds of suspected militants have been arrested from different parts of the country since last week's attack.
