Pak PM Nawaz Sharif consults aides, ministers ahead of US visit
Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif today discussed his upcoming official visit to the US with key aides and top ministers of his cabinet.

Sharif is scheduled to undertake the trip later this month at the invitation of President Barack Obama.
According to an official statement, Sharif chaired a meeting attended by finance minister Ishaq Dar, interior minister Nisar Ali Khan, Advisor to prime minister on national security Sartaj Aziz and Special Assistant to prime minister Tariq Fatemi.
"The meeting discussed the upcoming visit of the Prime Minister to USA," it said.
The prime minister also discussed various issues of mutual interest between Pakistan and the US.
He said on the occasion that the visit would help in further promoting the bilateral relations between the two countries.
The prime minister expressed hope that the visit will also help in providing Pakistan with an opportunity to highlight its sacrifices and huge losses in the war on terror.
