‘Not a power play’: US Transportation Secy Sean Duffy announces federal takeover of DC Union Station
The Trump administration announced plans to take over management of Washington D.C.’s Union Station, a major hub for Amtrak and the city’s metro system. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said that the federal government will assume control just over a year after Amtrak had taken over operations of the station.
