‘NIH hid that report': Sen Johnson claims agency withheld Dr Nath’s COVID vaccine injury research

Sen. Ron Johnson raised concerns during a September 15 Senate Finance Committee hearing about an NIH study led by Dr. Avindra Nath involving people who reported severe injuries following COVID-19 vaccination. Johnson alleged that NIH officials suppressed the research and concealed safety signals over fears it could fuel vaccine hesitancy. The claims were made by Johnson during the hearing and remain allegations.
