Netanyahu has hijacked US foreign policy: Iran ups the ante against Israel-US alliance in ongoing conflict
Iran strongly criticizes Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Iran claims Netanyahu is manipulating US foreign policy. They allege he is driving the region towards a larger conflict. Iran's UN mission states Netanyahu is a war criminal. They...

“Netanyahu, an internationally wanted war criminal, has hijacked U.S. foreign policy, dragging the United States into yet another costly war. America has, once more, recklessly chosen to sacrifice its own security merely to safeguard Netanyahu,” Iran’s mission to the United Nations said in a statement posted on X.
Moreover, the Iranian UN mission accused the United States, United Kingdom, France, Israel, and the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) of jointly abandoning diplomacy in favor of military aggression.
“The so-called offer of diplomacy was nothing more than a deceitful ploy,” it said, warning that those parties “will bear full responsibility for the death of innocent civilians in Iran, especially women and children, and for the destruction of vital civilian infrastructure.”
The strongly worded remarks come amid a dangerous spiral of military action involving Israel, Iran, and the United States.
The United States, backing its key regional ally, subsequently joined the conflict with a series of precision strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, including Fordo and Natanz, using bunker-buster bombs.
As a result of the US strikes, which the Trump administration has dubbed 'Operation Midnight Hammer,' Iran’s leadership has warned that it now considers American military forces in the region as legitimate targets.
Meanwhile, an exclusive report by Reuters noted that the US military is assessing risks of a military retaliation by Tehran within the next two days.
