‘More than double of Islamabad…’: Leavitt blasts Chicago crime rate, criticises Governor Pritzker
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt highlighted Chicago’s rising crime rates during a press briefing, claiming the city’s murder rate is more than double that of Islamabad and nearly 15 times higher than Delhi. She criticised Illinois Governor JB Pritzker for not doing enough to address the issue, as the Trump administration considers expanding its crime crackdown in the Democratic-led city.
