A conservative watchdog group reportedly said that it is scrutinising the finances of Rep. Ilhan Omar as outrage grows over Minnesota’s widening fraud scandal. According to reports, Peter Flaherty of the National Legal and Policy Center has confirmed his organisation is reviewing Omar’s financial disclosures following revelations of a sharp spike in her reported net worth. Filings indicate Omar’s wealth surged to nearly $30 million in about a year, a jump of roughly 3,500 percent compared to 2023.
