Minnesota Somali fraud: DOJ subpoenas Walz, Frey and other officials amid immigration crackdown

Federal prosecutors subpoenaed Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, his office said Tuesday, amid the Justice Department’s investigation into the state’s response to President Donald Trump heightening immigration enforcement there. The subpoenas escalate the growing conflict between Trump and Walz, which has swelled following the death of Renee Good, a Minnesota woman who was killed by a federal immigration officer earlier this month, days after Trump surged immigration officials to Minneapolis.
