Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, in an Instagram post, showcased the results of his latest hobby: designing and 3D printing dresses. He also shared pictures of his daughters wearing the 3D-printed dresses he had created. "I love building things and recently started designing and 3D printing dresses with the girls. A few projects from the last month... (and yes, I had to learn to sew)," he posted while sharing a few pictures of dresses designed by him.

One user praised Zuckerberg's sewing skills. "You sewed that yourself!? That’s not easy," Drita Davanzop posted.

Last year he had also posted a picture of a 3D printed suit. "A few days ago he had also Finished 3D printing the first piece of Max's suit," he said in a post.


Mark Zuckerberg's personal wealth is pegged at $88 billion, putting him on 12th position among world's richest, according to Bloomberg billionaire index.

Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan welcomed their third child this year. The couple is already parents to two daughters, five-year-old August and seven-year-old Maxima or ‘Max’. Zuckerberg met his future wife, Priscilla Chan, a pediatrician, while studying at Harvard. They got married in 2012.

On the work front, Zuckerberg had something to cheer about this week. Facebook parent company Meta's first-quarter results surpassed Wall Street's modest expectations on both profit and revenue, sending its stock soaring. Meta's stock was up over 10 per cent this week. Meta also reported that the monthly user base of its flagship platform — Facebook — inched close to 3 billion.

Meta Platforms earned $5.71 billion, or $2.20 per share, in the January-March period though it is down 19% from $7.47 billion, or $2.72 per share, a year earlier. Revenue climbed 3% to $28.65 billion from $27.91 billion. Analysts, on average, were expecting earnings of $2.02 per share on revenue of $27.67 billion.

“Our AI work is driving good results across our apps and business," CEO Mark Zuckerberg said in a statement. "We’re also becoming more efficient so we can build better products faster and put ourselves in a stronger position to deliver our long term vision.”

For the current quarter, Meta said it expects revenue in the range of $29.5 billion to $32 billion, above analysts' expectations of $29.45 billion.
