'May not conclude by Aug 1...': Carney drops bombshell on Trump tariff deal amid diplomatic tensions

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said on July 30 that tariff negotiations with US President Donald Trump's administration have been constructive, but the talks may not conclude by an August 1 deadline. "These are complex, they're comprehensive, they're constructive negotiations. It's possible that they may not conclude by the first of August," Carney told reporters in Ottawa.
