Major faux pas by Pakistan as Kartarpur domes collapses

In a major faux pas newly renovated domes of Kartarpur Gurudwara in Pakistan collapsed due to thunderstorm in the area on Friday evening.

Some domes of recently renovated Gurdwara Kartarpur fell during rain in a major embarrassment for Islamabad, according to reports. The domes were not constructed with cement and the Sikh community upset with the way construction was done by the Pakistan, sources alleged.

The renovation work of Gurdwara Darbar Sahib, Kartapur Sahib by Pakistan army has been exposed and shows that Kartarpur was just a political stunt for Imran Khan, alleged members of the Sikh community.


According to sources eight domes and installed at Minars, Musem, dewanistan and at Durshan deori fell down.

In order to meet deadline and save expenses, sources informed that Pakistan government had got the pre-fabricated domes of fiberglass readied and had bolted them on the structure.

Notably, Pakistan has levied an entry fee of US$ 20 while saying that they need money the maintence of the Gurdwara.

In November 2018, India, Pakistan announced the establishment of a direct border-crossing linking Gurdwara Darbar Sahib in Kartarpur, the final resting place of Sikh faith founder Guru Nanak, to Dera Baba Nanak in Punjab's Gurdaspur district.
