LIVE | Trump visits ‘Alligator Alcatraz’ detention centre | US immigration crackdown
US: President Trump is visiting "Alligator Alcatraz," the immigration detention centre in the Florida Everglades, on Tuesday, July 1. According to the White House, Trump will participate in a walking tour of the facility around 10 a.m., followed by a roundtable discussion shortly after 11 a.m. The 39-acre site is currently home to the Miami-Dade Collier Training and Transition Airport.
