LIVE | Kristi Noem, Pam Bondi announce new ‘Camp 47’ detention facility | US immigration crackdown
Immigration and Customs Enforcement announced a new detention facility, named “Camp 57,” in Angola, Louisiana. The new detention centre will use a part of the Louisiana State Penitentiary. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, alongside U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi, will join Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry and ICE Deputy Director Madison Sheahan for the announcement.
