Libya floods: Over 5,000 feared dead, thousands missing amid devastation
Floodwaters, triggered by storm Daniel, smashed through dams outside Libya’s coastal city of Derna and swept away entire neighborhoods, leaving thousands feared dead. Over 1,500 bodies have been recovered and it was feared the toll could surpass 5,000.
