‘Let’s decide date and place’: Zelenskyy urges Putin to hold bilateral talks on Ukraine peace deal
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Russia is doing everything to block a meeting between him and Vladimir Putin, urging Ukraine’s allies to impose fresh sanctions on Moscow if it continues to avoid peace talks. Zelenskyy has repeatedly called for a direct meeting with Putin, and Donald Trump recently claimed that the Russian leader agreed to such talks during his call with European leaders in Washington.
