Lee Zeldin to join Trump team as Environment Protection Agency lead, focus on US energy dominance

In another bid for America First, President-elect Donald Trump nominated Lee Zeldin as chief of EPA. The former New York congressman recently lost a governor bid in 2022, and left Congress in 2023. In 2016, Zeldin was against then-candidate Trump’s bid to eliminate the EPA.
