'Leave US in 60 days or else…': DHS ends legal status for Syrian immigrants | Immigration Crackdown
The Trump administration is ending Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for more than 6,000 Syrians who have lived and worked legally in the United States since 2012. The Department of Homeland Security argued that conditions in Syria no longer prevent migrants from returning, despite ongoing violence and instability.
