The new Holi-LAY’S collection includes chips inspired by cheddar scalloped-style potatoes, roasted holiday turkey, maple bacon, milk chocolate and Dubai-style dark chocolate. The "Holi-LAY'S" lineup will feature new flavors for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

When will Lay's drop its new flavours?

From October 25, Lay's will roll out its savory flavors with the first two new products: Cheddar Scalloped-Style Potatoes and Roasted Turkey. The third flavor, Maple Bacon, will be available in stores starting November 8. On the other hand. Lay's will release two kinds of chocolate-covered chips on Dec. 1: Wavy Milk Chocolate and Dubai-Style Dark Chocolate.

The new collection includes Cheddar Scalloped-Style Potatoes and Roasted Holiday Turkey, two varieties inspired by familiar dishes served during Thanksgiving celebrations.

"The holidays are all about gathering around the table with friends and family, and food plays an important role in those celebrations," PepsiCo Foods Senior Vice President of Marketing Denise Truelove said in a statement.

A look at various flavours offered by Lay's

Lay’s describes the Cheddar Scalloped-Style Potatoes variety as offering “all the creamy, cheesy deliciousness inspired by scalloped-style potatoes in a crispy chip made for savoring.” The flavor takes inspiration from the cheesy potato side dish, translating its rich, savory taste into a crunchy snack.

The Roasted Holiday Turkey variety, meanwhile, combines roasted turkey flavor with rich gravy notes. The idea is to recreate some of the familiar flavors of a holiday meal without requiring shoppers to prepare an entire dinner.

Lay’s is also bringing its Maple Bacon flavor to US shoppers for the first time. The variety combines sweet maple notes with smoky bacon flavor, offering a sweet-and-savory alternative to the traditional savory chip varieties.

According to the company, the flavor delivers “the perfect balance of sweet maple flavor and smoky bacon taste in every crunchy bite.” The flavor has previously been available in Canada, making the US launch an expansion of an existing product rather than an entirely new flavor worldwide.

Chocolate-covered chips bring a dessert twist

The collection also features two sweet varieties: Lay’s Wavy Milk Chocolate and Lay’s Wavy Dubai-Style Dark Chocolate.

The milk chocolate version pairs the brand’s ridged potato chips with a chocolate coating, creating a combination of salty and sweet flavors. The Dubai-style variety adds pistachios to dark chocolate-covered chips, drawing inspiration from the viral Dubai chocolate trend.

Holi-LAY'S Sweepstakes

Meanwhile, the company is also launching the Happy Holi-LAY’S Sweepstakes on October 26. Shoppers can scan codes on qualifying Lay’s bags or visit the promotion’s website to enter for a chance to win prizes, including chip bowls, a charcuterie set, a multicooker and a Lay’s collaboration casserole.
